Real Talk. Real Healing

My mission is to bring light to mental health awareness and promote emotional wellness. Though I’m just one person, I have a big voice — and I’m not afraid to use it.
I hope to return to personalized coaching and counseling in the future, but right now, my mission is bigger: to create self-help workbooks that are real — not full of complicated jargon or “feel-good fluff” that nobody connects with.
My goal is to publish meaningful, accessible mental health tools that anyone can pick up and understand, especially focusing on teen mental health. I want my workbooks to be in schools, treatment centers, and mental health agencies across the United States — reaching the people who need them most.
Above all, my mission is to bring healing practices into a positive light — to remind people that growth, balance, and self-love are possible no matter where they’re starting from, and to provide vital mental health support for all.
My approach to all things Claridge Counseling Co. is grounded in humor, warmth, and real talk — the same approach I bring to every part of my life and work.
Right now, my main focus isn’t seeing clients one-on-one — it’s writing and creating. I’m channeling my energy into building mindfulness-based, trauma-informed workbooks that help people enhance their emotional wellness, find clarity, balance, and a little peace in the middle of life’s chaos. (Yes, technically, my “service” right now is writing books — LOL — but those pages are filled with the same heart, honesty, and healing I bring to every conversation about mental health.)
Through Claridge Counseling Co., I aim to make healing conversations accessible beyond the therapy room — through practical guides, relatable stories, and authentic connection that provide mental health support and self-help strategies for everyone, including teens navigating their mental health.
At this time, Claridge Counseling Co. is focused on writing and creating mindfulness-based, trauma-informed workbooks designed to help individuals heal and grow in their emotional wellness journey. While I’m currently serving my community through my work in behavioral health, this space is dedicated to sharing educational products, tools, and resources that support mental health, balance, and self-understanding. My goal is to make mental health support and healing conversations accessible beyond the therapy room — through practical self-help guides, thoughtful reflection, and honest connection, especially for teen mental health.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Psychology, and later obtained my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. I am an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) currently in the process of transferring my California license to Arizona. During my graduate internship, I worked in a specialized reentry program that provided mental health support for women transitioning out of incarceration. My work involved using cognitive-behavioral techniques and strengths-based approaches to tackle challenges such as substance abuse, mental health struggles, and family reunification — all essential factors for emotional wellness and achieving long-term healing and stability. After completing my degree, I transitioned into community mental health in Arizona, where I continue to serve in the local school system, supporting children and families through behavioral and emotional challenges, particularly focusing on teen mental health. Through both my clinical work and writing, my mission remains the same: to promote self-help, healing, awareness, and authenticity in the world of mental health — one person and one story at a time.
